Hi there,

The most common cause for this code is a stuck vent control valve. If you have any difficulty filling the car then this is likely stuck closed. Normally replacing it will resolve the issue. If it's stuck closed, then there is usually a vacuum buildup after the engine is running and the purge is working. If this is the case then you might even hear a sucking noise when you remove the gas cap.
