I got the engine code P1400 EGR on my 1995 Nissan Maxima, what does the code mean?

HI there

This code is for the EGRC solenoid valve. This valve opens the EGR at specified times. If the EGR temp sensor doesn't change, then the computer will code it. This can be the result of a bad EGR-c solenoid valve, a bad vacuum line, plugged EGR tube, or a faulty EGR temp sensor. Here is some more info on it.
