What does code P0012 and P1554 mean when check engine light is on

Check engine light came on my BMW 2006 330i.  The codes are P0012 and P1554

P0012 Vanos intake

P1554 Crankshaft inlet , correlation

The camshaft timing caused by vanos intake caused P1554 , what this mean is the timing is over retarded ,the operation of the intake solenoid valve would need further inspection.
