2006 BMW 530i (E60) Code P0444 -

What can I do to locate the source of this issue without taking my car to someone else?I realize it is the EVAP system.

I am considering blowing smoke on/around the pump/canister first, and then taking it all apart and cleaning all of the components/hoses.

Any help would be great.Thank you!

Hi there

This code is for a problem with the purge control valve under the hood. It's possible there is an issue with the wiring, but most often the problem is the solenoid itself. Here is some more info for you.
