P1259 VTEC Malfunction Code for 2002 Honda - Accord

Hello I am getting a malfunction code P1259 VTEC for my 2002 Honda Accord. We replaced the engine with a new used motor and we also replaced that Valve and we are still getting this malfunction code. The car will only idle, however when we try to accelerate the vehicle is stalls out.

P1259 VTEC oil pressure circuit , or VTEC solenoid valve circuit

Check the oil level and the oil pressure at the VTEC oil switch, if the oil pressure is within the specification, substitute a known good PCM and retest , if the problem is resolved replace the PCM
