Hello. I got a P0700 code on my 2005 Kia Spectra EX.

What would have to be done in order to have this code fixed. My car doesn't shift passed 1st gear.

When you get this P0700 this is a informative code, there should be another code that is set with this code condition that cause a P0700, This code does not set by itself, if your scan tool see only this code use another scan tool. different scan tool will read different,
