How do I diagnose, locate sensor, and correct PO| 340 Code on my 2005 Ford Freestyle-4.3 engine?

P0340 Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction Bank 1

When this code is set the ECM can no longer see the camshaft sensor signal. This mostly set when the sensor fails. Its location is at the front of the engine, just replace the sensor .

 When P0340 set this is mostly just the sensor , replace just the sensor top.
