B2796 Rav 2001. Won't start.

Hi, Hope someone can help! I have replaced the ECU unit and used the car for a week with no issues. Then suddenly one day tried to start the engine and nothing happened. Today i was able to scan the vehicle and found the code b2796. I've seen many comments on the Internet that it is the key transponder. However i don't see any transponder on my key. Any way to reset the ECU? And delete this code or deactivate the inmobilizer system? Thanks in advance.!

Try this it may work. lock the doors and open thru the passenger side and try to restart. If not disconnect  the battery both post and bring the terminal together, ( do this with one window down). This may work for you If not you would  need a scantool that can reset the immobilizer , You can also be dealing with a faulty starter so you may want to test the starter by doing a direct jump
