Hi there,
The code is for the #1 cylinder ignition coil. The car should still run even though this one coil has a problem. However if it has been misfiring for to long, there could be catalytic converter damage. If there is it may be blocking the exhaust flow and causing the car to stall out. I would change the #1 coil and remove the front O2 sensor and start the car and see if it will continue to run. If it does, then check the converter, it's likely plugged.
