P0351 Toyota - corolla. Ruff idle on take off check engine light on.

Question

Check engine light comes on first. I can remove gas cap then placed back on and light goes off. Then light comes back on while driving. Then once stop at intersection car will ruff idle on take off. Is it the cap seal and venting? pO 351 is code. Toyota Corolla 1.8. 73,000 miles. Resently had filters changed.

Hi there the code indicates there is an issue with the #1 ignition coil. It is misfiring or has an issue with the primary circuit according to the computer and the code. This has nothing to do with the fuel cap. I would move the #1 coil to a different cylinder and then see if the misfire code moves with it. If it does, then you kno wthe coil is the problem.
