Wats wrong with tne idle

Driving today the engine light came on my friend put it on the computer it said it was the idle it's been really running really hard at stops in drive with AC on

Without a specific code it's difficult to know what the issue is. It's possible it is time for a new set of spark plugs. I have also seen issues with head gaskets and with the mas air flow sensors on these cars.
