Hi there,

P0430 is a code for the bank 2 catalytic converter working below efficiency. This could be the reason for the smoking, although if it's black smoke then that would indicate a rich fuel mix. This could be caused by a faulty mass air flow sensor and could also cause the catalytic converter code.
