The transmission pan (and oil) had to be replaced on my 2006 Dodge Dakota 3.7L V6 4WD because the oil was leaking through the pan. I'm seeing a P0700 error code now. Is this the result of the work done? I believe I overfilled the transmission with oil a wee bit. Could this also cause this error code? Should I reset the error code(s) and see if it represents itself? Thank you!

P0700 Transmission fault detected MIL light requested

Clear the code and retest, this code may have been in the pending code and not mature prior to the service of the transmision filter, Also be sure that you use the required transmission fluid the transmission fluid type is ATF +4. no other type of fluid should be used
