P0894 Chevrolet - transmission slips after a forced (acceleration) downshift

Question

If I do a hard acceleration forcing the transmission to downshift, then the transmission slips. But it returns to normal after the engine is stopped. The transmission shifts normally without any slipping. What's is recommended solution steps. I checked the fluid levels.

The best way to handle this is rebuild the transmission. or another transmission. you can try using a transmission additive , such as a transmission stop slip additive,  but the best alternative is rebuild or replace.
