P0463 Chevrolet Malibu check engine light is on an fuel gauge all the way saying i am out of gas

I will go start the car in the morning an the gauge will say low fuel I will start to drive an the gauge moves to what I have in the tank

This is not an uncommon issue. The code is for a problem with the fuel sending unit, so this would indicate the fuel gauge issue. In most cases replacing the fuel sending unit will resolve the problem with the gas gauge and the code.
