The light comes on, car won't shift. I stop kill engine, sit for a minute start up and it shifts again. Light doesn't stay on long. Had the code read at auto Zone. Is this just a faulty contact? or sensor? In the event of repair what is your best guestimation of cost?? I am single woman with no idea of what this repair might cost. tia

Hi there,

This code indicates an issue with transmission control module. It could simply mean a low battery, however, if this is replaced and the code returns, it means there is a problem with the TCM and will likely need replacing. Here is some more info for you.
