P0452 Chevrolet - 2000 s10 4.3

Question

I get P0452 randomly about once a month. Clear the code with my scanner. About a month later it comes back. With the long list of possibilities is there a place I should start. This time I also had code P0440.

Hi there,

I would start with the evap canister vent control solenoid. This could cause both of these codes to happen. If it is stuck open then you will have an evap leak and also an issue with the evap pressure sensor.
