2002 Dodge Grand Caravan speedometer is going crazy and not shifting

speedometer is going crazy I have replaced both sensors speed control sensors the input and the output last Friday the van messed up on me and it is in bad shape now it will not shift correctly I mean it takes 15 minutes to go two miles the code I am getting is po700

P0700 Transmission fault detected,MIL light requested

If the speedometer is going crazy you may have to go a littel futher with the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) which is the output speed sensor.the gear can be pitted leading into a erratic behaivor with the speedometer
