P0446 Toyota -

Hello .

1998 Toyota Camry CE 2.2L at 180.000km
Check engine light on . Code OBDII shows P0446..
Please provide step by step if possible, where to start and trouble shoot...

Hi there,

This code is a catch all code. It's basically the computer saying there is a problem, but doesn't have any idea where the problem is. The best place to start is with a smoke test. If there is a stuck solenoid or a leak in the emissions system this will show a leak, then you can proceed with the repair or replacement of the faulty part.
