why am I getting a p0124 code on my scanner its a Chrysler aspen 4.7 engine

HI there,

This code pertains to the throttle position sensor. It is considered a transmsission code, and if you have any engine codes they must be diagnosed first. If the TPS circuit is out of range for more then 7. milliseconds, then you will get this code.
