2000 Chevrolet Impala 3.4. I mistakenly removed the fuse labeled ABS/PCM with the engine running. Instantly the engine turned off. I reinserted the fuse, turned ignition key and engine would not start/crank. I connected a OBD 2 code reader and a DTC PO301 was displayed. I disconnected the battery for 45 minutes, rechecked the fuse, reconnected the battery and still no start. What did I do and how do I fix this?

Hi there,

This code will not prevent the engine from starting. You likely blew a few fuses when you removed the original fuse. If the engine won't even turn over then I would look for blown fuses in the main fuse box under the hood.
