What to do about code P1361: Intermittent Interruption In TDC 1 Sensor Circuit on my '99 accord LX auto trans. I bought it a momth and a half ago and it was driving like a champ with nothimg wrong. a week and a half ago it started pulling and slipping gears and then poped the engine light that showed codes P0700 and P0753. I cleaned out the trans fluid and put high millage new oil in and replaced the solinoied. Cleaned the engine from oil to see any new leaks. That was 3 days ago and it was back to perfect after that. I don't usially drive fast and play between 1,000-2,500rpm at most but when I bought it I played around to make sure everything was good. Last night i wanted to pass someone and hit the gas a bit and when it got to 3,500rpm it blocked the engine and fell just under 3,000rpm and was bouncing off it but wouldn't go past. This morning I started the car and it did the same thing but off 5,000rpm. Thought it was cuz it was cold but I drove it to pull the codes and when I got back it still wouldn't go past 5,000rpm and bounce off it. Codes read P1361. I have a video of this morning. Can I fix it with some mechanical experience or would I have to go to an experienced mechanic?

Replace the whole distributor, do not be surprised if the ECM would need to be replaced with this also.
