P0183 KIA - how or what do I do to fix it ?

Hi. Just wondering what needs to be done to solve this problem. P0183 code with engine light on and I need to get an inspection sticker.

I do any work that I'm able to do myself and had asked AutoZone when they checked the code. The guy was helpful enough but had no idea what it could be .... He never heard of this issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,

This code is for the fuel temp sensor. This is located in the fuel tank, the sensor can be replaced without replacing the whole fuel pump and access is under the rear seat to get to the tank.
