Do i need to clear the p0183 code in order for it to fix my problem after changing the part?

I have a 02 Galant and it read the code p0183 so I changed the fuel temp sensor and my car still won't start. Do I need to delete the code?

P0183 Fuel temperature sensor circuit

The fuel temperature sensor is integrated into the fuel pump module, A engine not only need fuel to start but also ignition, Clearing this code will not help, Take a fuel pressure check this will determine if the fuel pump is operational, the fuel pressure should be at least 38 psi.
