PO 443 comes up on scanner 1999 Chev venture

I changed the converter to a after market unte now i get this code PO 443, and the Eng stops running

Hi there,

This code is for the purge control solenoid. When the purge control opens its pulling fuel vapors out of the charcoal canister and into the engine. If this is stuck open, then it might be flooding the engine and causing the stalling, otherwise it's not related to the running issue.
