i have replaced my catalytic converter but i still get the code . does that mean i bought a bad converter

Hi there,

There are a couple of possibilities here. First, make sure you replaced the bank 2 converter. Also, a rear O2 sensor can cause this as well as a poorly running engine. If you have misfires or intake manifold gasket leaks on bank 2 it will affect the reading from the rear O2 sensor and can cause the catalytic converter code to appear.
