Hi there,

The most common issue with this is the DPFE sensor. This is mounted to the tubing that goes to the ege valve. If you take it off and it's full of water then it should be replaced. If there isn't any water in it, then you need to check that the vacuum to the egr is working, the egr itself is working and also check the tubing to the egr for blockage.
