P0449 Land-rover - Purge Valve Solenoid Replacement

Question

There is a malfunction in the Purge Valve Solenoid and I have to replace or fix it, what could be the problem and the solution? The Check Engine Light is on.

P0449 Evaporative emission vent control valve ciruit

Replace the vent control valve irregardless if it test good. Clear the code , this is a troublemaker code, what happens if the vent control short internally being a solenoid it is capable of shorting its driver in the ECM.
