check engine light is on, only code is 0037. mechanic will replace the sensor for 318$ including labor.
1, could this be a fuse, the emc, or something else?
2, if i find a less expensive one is it worth it to try to install myself? (i have limited mechanical skills.)
3, is 318 a fair price?
thanks,
walter

P0037 H02S heater control circuit Low Bank 1 Sensor 2

When your are dealing with a circuit high codes , you are more than likely  dealing with a component that is either disconnected , or has a open wire at the harness or just the sensor itself, As for the price this depends on whether it is OEM or aftermarket, As for doing it yourself there is a first time for everything, you are going to end up replacing the sensor so just try, what the challenge will be is the location of the 02 sensor, being sensor 2 this is the downstream 02 sensor or the catalytic monitor sensor.
