1999 ford 150 4.8 anti-theft light on

Question

Have an anti-theft light on & cant get rid of it. Changed the ecm & even the steering colum . still blinks. I put that ecm & steering colum in another identical truck & no problem. must be something deeper????

You need to retrieve the code from the GEM module , not the ECM, this is will help narrow the cause for the anti theft concern
