My car stalled immediately after starting it right after I got gas. I've tried the key on for 5 seconds and off and back on like the manual says but it still won't start. I only have one key and no fab. The security light is blinking and the car turns over like it wants to start and sometimes even starts a little and then it stalls out again. Bought the car used and had this problem a couple times before but it usually started up eventually. I have tried to start it more than 5 times so it is locked now. How long should I wait to try again?

Hi there,

There isn't a waiting period if it's locked out. You need to have the dealer or a mobile locksmith come out and reprogram the key or the car will not start.
