I got this code brought up for a good week now. But I'm not sure exactly why I should replace for my BMW. Its obviously a sensor issue, Is it the coolant sensor that needs replacing?

P0117 Engine coolant temperature circuit low input

This is more of the coolant temperature sensor that set this code, You would still need to check the cooling system , for any coolant leaks, and having the proper coolant mix or water to coolant
