if this is a computer issue why can't I smog it, it has not to do with smog. Also my car drives fine. If I do have to replace it how much is it

P0605 Internal control module Read Only Memory (ROM) error

Anytime the CK ENG LT comes on the vehile is in a emission violation. The purpose for the CK ENG LT is to protect the catalytic convertor. When you have this code condtion and vehicle runs fine? was there any reprogramming done to the vehicle? Ford at this Year , Make had a recent Recall for the throttle body contamination. Do the Recall if it has not been perfromed before you do anything with the ECM (engine condtrol module) TSB # 13B17S1
