I found a wire in the back of my computer, can this cause problems with code p0605?

I have cleared the code p0605 four times but it keeps coming back.  I checked the back of my computer and found a white wire that someone has put there.  It goes to a switch under the dash.  Can this be my problem?

P0605 ECM read only memory error

This all depends on where the wire is connected to, The code that you have is a P0605 this is more a internal error with the ECM. Can you check what color wire it connects to on the ECM and to where it connects to.
