I am sry of opening a discussion that is yrz old but i really need help changed the distributor put the timing marks right off the crank and distributor retraced the spark plug wirez to each cylinder and it is hard to start and wants to run but is not running at all like it cant idle right backfires true the exhast and pops only one code aand it is p1345 it run before the dist was changed out with new one any help is greatly appreciated thank u

P1345 Crankshaft position  to Camshaft position correlation

This code you can get if the distributor is installed wrong.

 The first step is to set the number 1 cylinder to top dead center

 With the distributor cap removed, locate where the igntion rotor points to, it should match with the distributor caps position for number one cylinder, from the inside.

Here what happens when you remove the distributor, it moves 42 degrees  counter closkwise, so this means you would have to move it 42 degrees opposite when installing.

 The rotor position would have to be where number one is at on the distributor cap
