2007 Jeep Wrangler 3.8 l v-6 having several codes pop up when trying to get state inspection sticker. Codes are for bank 1 and bank 2 p0420 and p0430 catalyst system efficiency below threshold. What can I do to fix without taking to a mechanics shop? Is the fix as simple as changing the O2 sensors on both banks?

HI there,

Most of the time when you have these codes you will need to replace the converters. However, if the engine isn't running well, or if you have exhaust leaks you can get these codes. Also, bad rear O2 sensors can also cause this.
