how can I fix this problem cranks over but does not want to start

P1682 Ignition 1 Switch 2

This code condition will not cause the engine to not start, if it does start it would start in reduce power mode.

You would have to test the ignition 1 voltage circuit to the ECM. Ignition 1 also gives power to other ECM circuit, Keep in mind the ignition switch at one time had a Recall condition.
