p0022, p0171, p0345 and 0349.2005 Lincoln navigator

Question

The car starts right away and idle just fine. However, after 1 hour drive and waiting at the traffic light, the RPM goes down to 400 and the car shakes a lot and sometimes just dies.

P0022 Intake camshaft position timing - over retard Bank 2

P0171 Fuel trim lean Bank 1

P0345 Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction Bank 2

P0349 Camshaft position sensor "A" circuit intermittent Bank 2

If this condition with  was just with the camshaft position sensor , there would be no need for the ECM to set a P0022. What usually set this code is when approaching a stop,there rough idle is experience and low RPM. The solution is to replace the camshaft position timing solenoid.

 The location for the camshaft timing solenoid is usually solved by replacing the camshaft timing solenoid.

 The location for the camshaft timing solenoid is where cylinder 5 is located at.
