Hi Tim,

It is possible the gas cap is causing this code. This really is a generic code for, you have a leak and we don't know where. Starting with a new gas cap is an excellent idea but if that doesn't resolve it then the next step would be to smoke the evap system to check for leaks. This is because of the fact that there are so many things that can acutally cause it. Here is a list. Generally its best to get another code with this code to help narrow down the possibilities.
