iam gettin codes p0340 and code p00017 are they related

i am getting 2 codes on my 2010 cadalic srx, po340 and p0017. are these related?

Hi Don,

These codes are related. If the cam sensor on bank 1 has stopped reporting properly then you will get the P0017 which is saying the cam shaft correlation is impossible. Of course it is if it can't see the bank 1 cam position. Replacing the cam sensor should resolve both codes.
