P0138 Oxygen sensor circuit malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 2

With this code condition the 02 sensor is not seen by the ECM, The ECM uses this reading , to adjust fuel injection timing,If the 02 sensor is not working the ECM will be unable to compensate for any deviation for the air to fuel ratio. The Best way to check the function is with a scan tool reading . With a scan tool for Bank 1 Sensor 2 the reading for the output voltage will be about 059 volts or more .
