P0730 Acura - vtm r lock code

Question

I just purchased a 2002 Acura MDX touring and I have a code P0730 and a "VTM 4 Lock". It runs perfect. Where should I start?

P0730 Faulty shift control system

When the vehicle is stopped and the transmission is in R, 2 or 1, the system will fully lock the rear differental clutch when the VTM-4 is pressed.. Depress the VTM-4 clear the code. If P0730 return you have a internal transmission fault
