P0340 Engine Code - Ford Endeavour

Question

Hi I have a ford endeavour and am getting P0340 error I got the CAM sensor changed and also got a new battery fittedThe error went away after this during the test drive, but came again today when i drove the vehicle in city for abvout 8 kms.

What could be the other possible cause?

Does this have any correlation with switching on the AC i suspect that as well.

HI there

If the code comes back after replacing the sensor it could be low on oil, a wiring harness problem or a problem with the mechanical timing. The A/C has nothing to do with this code or the cam position sensor.
