P2188 System too rich at idle Bank 1

Yes this does affect the safety as well as the perfromance of the vehicle, youmay encounter rough idle, engine stalling , loss of engine perfromance. Check for any misfire condition that may occured with this code condtion. faulty MAF (mass air flow as well as the air filter and even its PCV system, As long as there is no misfire condition and one side of the Bank has a rich running conditon you would be looking at a PCV system. It is recomended you replace both sides
