Code has been recurring since 45k miles - the 2010 Jetta TDi Sportwagen now has 101k miles on it. Finally replaced the EGR with brand new, as well as an exhaust pressure sensor, plus have removed & totally cleaned the interior of the intake. The P0401 code came back in approx. 100 miles after spending almost $1200 trying to resolve the issue.

Car runs better now & is getting the expected MPG. But, I want the check-engine light OFF somehow & can't afford to keep "guessing", then spending stupid $$ on this car without getting the result. What else can I do?

Thanks ~ Fred
