I have not been able to connect the OBD II scanner yet.

The truck has had intermittent starting problems AFTER the cost of the fuel pump being replaced and the engine rebuilt (unrelated to not starting/fuel).

The truck started and ran FINE after the engine was rebuilt, but more than once it cranks fine but does NOT fire (not even an indication of the engine firing/hiccuping)! When it last started - ran we'd filled the fuel tank so it has at least ¾ tank of fuel.

Granted, PO190 may not be the code displayed. Any ideas or suggestions regarding the meaning of whatever code(s) may be displayed? Surely the NEW fuel pump 300+ miles, can't be BAD! grrrrr

ANY and ALL help / suggestions will be APPRECIATED!

Thank you

Ms. R. A.

P0190 Fuel rail pressure sensor circuit malfunction

This code condition is usually the indication of a fuel problem such as low fuel pressure. not necessarily the fuel rail pressure sensor especially when it has a hard time starting.and yes a new fuel pump can go bad.
