P0750 error code be from blown valve body gasket

5r55e stuck in first gear pulled valve body gasket had a tear in it, could this cause the error code

P0750 SSA / SS1 Solenoid circuit failure

This would be more of a faulty solenoid or faulty harness, if this was a bad valve body gasket there would be other code with this. If the transmission pan was removed, where there any heavy sediment? being stuck in first gear would be a indication of a stuck or damage friction material.
