When there is a misfire condition those cylinder are not contributing, When there is a P0300 random misifre means more than 2 cylinder are  not contributing,The best to start for a misfire condition is to check the ignition coils, and important to inspect the condition of the sparkplugs,  

 One fouled sparkplug can cause other cylinder to misfire, The one on the right is overly worned

 One failed ignition coil can also set other cylinder to misfire , clear the code , if the CK ENG LT returns for just one cylinder replace that coil
