camshaft position sensor malfunction

Question

Hi we changed the sensor an the code still comes back an it starts when cold but cuts back out unless you hold the throttle for about 2 mins an the like something cuts in an then it idles.

P0340 Camshaft position sensor circuit malfucntion

The crank and camshaft position sensor are one unit. When this unit is installed you have to time the enigne with a timing light. There is a possibility what you have is a malfunctioning camshaft positioning sensor
