Audi A4 P0455 code

Question

Recently changed my N80 purge valve due to a CEL and P0442 (small EVAP leak) code. I reset the code and about 60 miles later CEL popped on again. Now I have the P0445 (Large EVAP leak). Will be replacing the gas cap, any other advice?

Hi there,

If the code continues after replacing the gas cap, check the new purge and make sure it's not being held on by the computer. Also, check the vent control valve. This could cause the code as well. Also, with the purge, check the vacuum hoses are hooked up right. If they aren't then it's going to look like it's leaking
